It is with great pleasure that we announce Developer Eyes has been awarded Lloyds Accreditation for the Water Industry Registration Scheme (WIRS). This accreditation allows Developer Eyes to become an accredited Self-Lay Organisation (SLO) and undertake the installation of water networks, testing, commissioning and service connections as an alternative to incumbent Water Companies provision.

Deregulation within the water industry has been evolving since the turn of the century. WIRS has been developed to allow contractors to carry out installations, testing, commissioning and connection of water mains and services that are adopted by the incumbent Water Company. Any SLO contracting out their services to carry out contestable work as defined by OFWAT, must be accredited under this scheme.

All the Water Companies within Mainland UK recognise this scheme and provided that the SLO holds the appropriate scopes of accreditation, they are able to tender for, and if successful, undertake installation and commissioning of water mains and services work. Once the works have been completed, the incumbent Water Company will adopt the system for the remainder of its lifetime.

Our founder and CEO, Grant Morgan, has a long and successful history and excellent reputation for owning and running companies that provide utility services to the developer sector. He has also being involved with industry regulation and governance via his work with Fair Water Connections and his liaison with OFWAT and other regulatory bodies. This knowledge, experience and understanding is used to provide advice, guidance, consultancy services and self-lay solutions to improve the ways in which utilities are planned for and delivered to development sites.

We have numerous sites already booked in and ready to start, so please contact us today so that we can add you to our growing list of happy clients.

All the best
