Who had I become? Just another shark in a suit? Two days later at our corporate conference in Miami, a breakthrough. Breakdown? Breakthrough. I couldn't escape one simple thought: I hated myself. No, no, no, here's what it was: I hated my place in the world. I had so much to say and no one to listen to me. And then it happened. It was the oddest, most unexpected thing. I began writing what they call a mission statement. Not a memo, a mission statement. You know, a suggestion for the future of our company. A night like this doesn't come along very often. I seized it. What started out as one page became twenty-five. Suddenly, I was my father's son again. I was remembering the simple pleasures of this job, ……. With so many clients, we had forgotten what was important.’ Jerry Maguire.

I love films and pride myself in finding motivation in the most unlikely of places. My mentors and inspiration come from the people I surround myself with. I choose to work with people that inspire me and drive me forward. Like you, I have high standards and expectations and can understand how frustrating it can be when third parties can let you down. Delegation is an important skill to master and if managed correctly and to the right party, delegation is the only way progress can be achieved.

Jerry Maguire is a great film, but it’s by no means a blue print upon which to base your career upon and I have never been asked to shout ‘show me the money’ to secure a contract.

I am out here for you. You don't know what it's like to be ME out here for YOU. It is an up-at-dawn, pride-swallowing siege that I will never fully tell you about, ok? Help me... help you. Help me, help you.’ Jerry Maguire.

Does your job make you feel like this? Do you feel part of a faceless corporate machine, or worse still; are you engaging them? Shortcuts, extra-overs, more money - push, push, push. I am in the fortunate position to own and run my own business and I have the opportunity to do things better, to be better. One of the statements made by Jerry Maguire is - less clients and more care, I couldn’t agree more. Business is all about communication and relationships, the more distant relationships become the worse the service becomes. Developer Eyes ensures our clients are given the opportunity to form dedicated relationships with our project teams. Small company service with big company deliverability.

If you cannot keep all the balls in the air you are being asked to juggle, sooner or later something will get dropped. If providing a good service and meeting your targets is important to you, then get in touch today and we can guarantee you unrivalled service and dedication.

Who's coming with me?
