We are looking for a Grounds Operative and a Landscape Team Leader 

We are looking for two people to join our diverse and growing Property and Estate Management Team. These roles will be working under the supervision of the Landscaping Team Leader and the Contracts Manager, forming part of the Grounds maintenance team responsible for achieving high standards in all areas of work. 
 
Your duties will include undertaking general grounds maintenance tasks as directed by the Project Manager to ensure a high standard of work is maintained at all times and in accordance with the established schedule of works.  Maintenance duties will include both mechanical and manual operations and will cover the broad spectrum of grounds maintenance such as; edging, grass cutting, weeding, litter picking, planting trees, shrubs and seasonal bedding, pruning, small tree works, sports pitch maintenance, turfing and any other gardening tasks associated with grounds maintenance.
 
As Grounds Operative, you should be able to operate the full range of commercial equipment, grounds maintenance vehicles and associated equipment– for example ride on mowers, strimmers, hedge-cutters and line marking equipment. You will be responsible for managing, maintaining and operating equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions and Company policies, as well as completing all necessary log sheets etc. as per statutory requirements and Developer Eyes Contracting Ltd procedures. At all times, responsibility should be taken for the health and safety of yourself, work colleagues and others who may be affected by your activity, working in accordance with the Company’s safety policies.
 
As Landscape Team Leader, your main duty will be to delegate and undertake general grounds maintenance duties reporting to the Contracts Manager / Operations Director. You will oversee members of the Grounds maintenance team and be responsible for achieving high standards for the maintenance of all areas of work.  You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as this position requires you to work in a team as well as directing the team.
